The photos must not contain persons in first plane, pets or cars, the photos will be published in this site with your name, country, web site or blog so thousands of people can watch them.

1: Set up the Media pack as a local repository.

2: Install a program from the media pack.

3: Check the manufacturer of the package from yast before installing.

4: Check the author or the authors of the program from yast before installing.

5: Check the author or the authors from the program itself.

6: Check some contact info, usefull to report bugs or thanks the authors.

7: Access the GPL from the program.

Remember this is a solution for those that doesn`t have internet at home, if you have an internet connection it would be easier for you to use the online repositories.

Este video tutorial muestra lo siguiente:

1: Configurar el media pack como repositorio local.

2: Instalar un programa desde el media pack.

3: Ver el fabricante del paquete desde yast antes de la instalacion.

4: Ver el nombre del autor o los autores del programa desde yast antes de la instalacion.

5: Ver el nombre o los nombres de los autores desde el programa ya instalado.

6: Ver informacion de contacto, util para reportar bugs o agradecer a los autores.

7: Ver la GPL desde el programa.

Recuerden que esta es una solucion para los que no cuentan con una conexion a internet en sus hogares, si Ud. cuenta con el servicio de internet se le hara mas sencillo usar los repositorios en linea.

Multimedia Pack Portable 2008 y los diferentes escenarios de uso.

Escenario 1

Deseas usar OpenSuse para ver videos, escuchar música, ver DVDs entonces necesitas: Mplayer, Xine, VLC y  libdvdcss.

Escenario 2

Deseas usar OpenSuse para ver videos, escuchar música, ver DVDs, grabar algunos cd de música en tu computadora y después quemarlos entonces necesitas: Mplayer, Xine, VLC, libdvdcss, K3B y Asunder.

Escenario 3

Deseas usar OpenSuse para ver videos, escuchar música, ver DVDs, grabar algunos cd de música en tu computadora y después quemarlos, respaldar algunos DVDs  originales en caso de que se dañen entonces necesitas: Mplayer, Xine, Vlc, Libdvdcss, K3B, Asunder, K9dvdcopy, DVD::RIP o DVDShrink.

Escenario 4 OpenSuse 11 como Media Center!

Deseas usar OpenSuse para ver videos, escuchar música, ver DVD, grabar algunos cd de música en tu computadora y después quemarlos, respaldar algunos DVD originales en caso de que se dañen, editar video, convertir formatos de audio, probar algunas imágenes de DVD antes de grabarlas, grabar tu voz, crear DVD a partir de videos bajados de cámaras digitales o video capturado de la TV o de cámaras de video, entonces necesitas: Mplayer, Xine, Vlc, Libdvdcss, K3B, Asunder, K9dvdcopy, DVD::RIP,  Acetone, Furiousiso, DVDShrink, SoundConverter, Audacious, DeVeDe, ManDVD, Avidemux, LMMS y Audacity.

Scenario 2

You wish to use OpenSuse to watch videos, listen music, watch DVDs, rip some CD of music in your computer and then burn them then you need: Mplayer, Xine, VLC,  libdvdcss, K3B, and Asunder.

Scenario 3

You wish to use OpenSuse to watch videos, listen music, watch DVDs, rip some CD of music in your computer and burn them and backup DVDs then you need:  Mplayer, Xine, Vlc, Libdvdcss, K3B, Asunder, K9dvdcopy, DVD::RIP or DVDShrink.

Scenario 4 OpenSuse as a Media Center!

You wish to use OpenSuse to watch videos, listen music, watch DVDs, rip some CD of music in your computer and burn them and backup DVDs, edit video, convert to different audio formats, test DVD images before burn, record your voice, create DVD from videos downloaded from digital cameras o captured video from the TV o video cameras, then you need: Mplayer, Xine, Vlc, Libdvdcss, K3B, Asunder, K9dvdcopy, DVD::RIP,  Acetone, Furiousiso, DVDShrink, SoundConverter, Audacious, DeVeDe, ManDVD, Avidemux, LMMS and Audacity.

The original idea of this work was taked from the OpenSuse forum, your are welcome to take it and add your favorite programs if they are not included, and public your own compilation in the internet, but always keeping the original idea that the programs can be installed in any pc that doesn`t have internet access, all the RPM comes from different repositories, check a specific file to know the procedence.

La idea original de este trabajo fue tomada del Forum de OpenSuse, estan invitados a tomar este trabajo e incluir sus programas favoritos si no lo estan y publicar sus propias compilaciones en el internet, siempre manteniendo la idea original de que los programas deben ser instalables en cualquier pc que no tenga acceso a internet, todos los RPM vienen de diferentes repositorios, revisen un archivo especifico para conocer su procedencia
